13 year old female suicide bombers attack Cameroon central market, 13 killed (photo)

13 people were killed after two 13yr old female suicide bombers blew themselves up at Cameroon's central market in Maroua. The girls, dressed in Muslim Burqa, and hawking guinea corn, detonated the bombs strapped under their veil immediately they walked into the middle of the market. Another bomb explosion was reported in a densely populated area in Maroua.

Photos: Boko Haram releases 1st beheading video since joining ISIS

Boko Haram members have released their first ISIS like video showing the gruesome beheading of a captured military officer. In the 10mins video, the sect members are seen engaging the military in a gun battle and then the video shows them standing proudly next to the corpses of the military officers killed and the video ends with the gruesome beheading of a captured military officer.

Bomb blast hits army base in Plateau

Casualty details are still sketchy, but witnesses and security sources have confirmed the incident., and some reports say it is fatal.

A military facility in Plateau State reportedly witnessed a bomb blast at about 9:45 this morning, April 25.
According to Premium Times, the bomb exploded at the Nigerian Army’s 3rd Armoured Division barracks at Bassa Local Government Area of the state.
Casualty details are still sketchy, but witnesses and security sources have confirmed the incident. Some reports say it is fatal.

Islamic militant group abducts and kills Kenyan chief

There has been no word yet from al-Shabab or the Kenyan authorities over the killing.

 
Armed men suspected to be members of Islamist militant group, Al-Shabab have reportedly kidnapped and killed a Kenyan chief.
According to BBC, Chief Muktar Otieno was seized early on Thursday morning on the road to Mandera town, close to the border between Kenya and Somalia.
He was then tied to a tree and shot dead by the militants, after locals failed to pay a ransom, as revealed by assistant chief Abdinoor Dakane.

Body of ISIS commander paraded in a glass coffin as he's handed over to authorities

 
72 year old Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri, who was one of late Saddam Hussein's most trusted henchmen in Ba'ath Party and later became an ISIS commander has died in fighting in Tikrit. al-Douri, who was one of the world's most wanted man and had a $10million bounty on his head was killed during fighting with government troops in Salahuddin province, north of Baghdad, on Friday according to Iraqi officials. The man, popularly known as King of Clubs, was fighting alongside ISIS militants.

Today, after parading his body in glass coffin so Iraqi people could see that he'd been killed, they delivered his body to the Ministry of Health in Baghdad. See the photos after the cut...

The bomber was reportedly targeting the Sakafa Mosque in Potiskum, the state capital when the device he was carrying exploded prematurely. The incident is said to have occurred at about 4:20pm on Monday, April 20, 2015

A failed suicide attack in Yobe State has left the bomber dead and eight others injured, reports say.

The event saw the vandalizing of a police van that unknowingly ran into the fight between the boys and some policemen. In Rivers 9 men gunned down in shooting spree

According to a statement, the gunmen attacked the community, killing 6 persons instantly while 3 others died on arrival at a hospital where they were rushed to for medical attention

Nine persons have been confirmed dead after unknown gunmen stormed Obrikom and Obur communities in Rivers state on Saturday the 4th of April.

According to a statement by the Rivers state PRO, Ahmad Muhammad, the gunmen attacked the community, killing 6 persons instantly while 3 others died on arrival at a hospital where they were rushed to for medical attention.

Boko Haram killed 9, injured 6 in Borno town

Boko Haram terrorists have killed nine Chadian soldiers in an ambush in Borno State, military sources say.

The attack, which also left 16 soldiers wounded, is said to have taken place on Wednesday, April 1, in Malam Fatori.
“Elements of the Chad-Niger (military alliance) were killed in a pocket of resistance,” Colonel Azem Bermandoa Agouna told AFP.

Iraqi soldiers torture and behead ISIS prisoners (photos)


 

Iraqi Special forces have started torturing and beheading captured ISIS militants in apparent revenge attacks - and now are sharing photos on social media. The images above was posted on instagram by someone who claimed to be an Iraqi soldier and showed the disembodied heads and mutilated bodies of the militants. He said it was in revenge for the hundreds of Iraqi soldiers that have been killed by ISIS. See more photos after the cut...

Oh dear! ISIS accepts Boko Haram's plea of allegiance...

According to AFP, ISIS has now accepted the allegiance of Boko Haram. Find the report below...
The Islamic State group has welcomed a pledge of allegiance to it made by the Nigerian jihadist organisation Boko Haram, according to an audiotape Thursday purportedly from its spokesman.
"We announce to you to the good news of the expansion of the caliphate to West Africa because the caliph... has accepted the allegiance of our brothers of the Sunni group for preaching and the jihad," IS spokesman Mohammed al-Adnani said in the message, using the Arabic name for Boko Haram.
